I had never intended to buy it, but I thought that it sounded interesting and it was half price and in the limited edition cover (which is super pretty), so I brought it and thought that I would just give it a go. It has been a year now and I have only just picked it up and only because the sequel comes out next week and I need to know whether or not to buy it (I will need to get the limited edition version so it will match). But I have finally gotten

Book Rating:8.7 Characters: Chameleon Moon (Chameleon Moon, #1) (Chameleon Moon Book 1) First published: October 10th 2016Rating: 8.72 stars GoodReads:Chameleon Moon (Chameleon Moon, #1) Review: Chameleon Moon has one of the most unique ideas I’ve ever seen. Parole is an American city that’s been cut off from the rest of the world because it’s on fire and the flames can’t be put out. The creepy evil government/police, Eye in the Sky, watch over the city from their helicopters. Also, a drug exists within the city that can cure anything, but can have negative side effects and/or cause its users to develop superpowers. So it’s an awesome blend of dystopian, apocalyptic, urban fantasy and s

Book Rating:7.5 Characters: Food of the Gods (Gods And Monsters: Rupert Wong Book 1) First published: May 3rd 2017Rating: 7.48 stars GoodReads:Food of the Gods Review: With Food of the Gods, Cassandra Khaw has served up a delectable dish. It overcomes its structural flaws by leaning heavily on its style, gorgeous prose, and wildly charismatic characters. It’s not often you see such a convincing blend of culture, style, and sheer readability (even in the face of unending violence and a stomach-churning season of Top Chef: Underworld), but Khaw does it all. Food of the Gods is so decadent and flavourful that you’ll want a second helping and dessert. (Just make s

I think they went a little too far with rewriting SO much of the original stories of their heroes.

Book Rating:7 Characters: Anna minun rakastaa enemmän (Suvi Vaahtera Book 1) First published: February 23rd 2017Rating: 7 stars GoodReads:Anna minun rakastaa enemmän Review: Pidin kirjasta. Kahden eri ihmisen, äidin ja poikaystävän, kertomus rock-tähden elämästä. Aika yllättävä käänne kuitenkin kirjan lopussa, joka laittoi pohtimaan uudelleen kaikkea lukemaansa. Jää mieleen. Pidän Itkosen kielestä ja tarinan kuljettamisesta.

Author: First Book Publish:2014 Books in series: 1 Avg. Book Rating:6.9 Characters: The Steampunk Trilogy (La Trilogia Steampunk Book 1) First published: July 7th 2014Rating: 6.88 stars GoodReads:The Steampunk Trilogy Review: Picked this up based on a “Oh, you like China Mieville, you’ll like this” recommendation. Big mistake. The prose is bland, the characters are universally one-dimensional, the plot “twists” are stunningly obvious throughout, and the whole thing feels like the quality of writing you expect to pick up at a 4th grade classroom.
Author: First Book Publish:2005 Books in series: 1 Avg. Book Rating:7.7 Characters: Oliver Twist, Artful Dodger, Rose Maylie Oliver Twist (Biblioteca Rtp – Clássicos Em Banda Desenhada Book 1) First published: March 31st 2005Rating: 7.68 stars GoodReads:Oliver Twist Review: Oliver Twist’s famous cry of the heart – “Please, sir, I want some more” – has resounded with generations of readers of all ages. The author poured his own youthful experience of Victorian London’s unspeakable squalor into this realistic depiction of a spirited young innocent’s unwilling but inevitable recruitment into a scabrous gang of thieves. Masterminded by the loathsome Fagin, the underworld crew features some of Dickens’s most memorable characters, including the vicious Bill Sikes, gentle Nancy, and the juvenile pickpocket known as the Artful Dodger.

Book Rating:8.1 Characters: Aufbruch (Hilla Palm-romantrilogie Book 1) First published: September 6th 2009Rating: 8.1 stars GoodReads:Aufbruch Review: Thank god class was cancelled today so I could finally finish this book. The novel started off well enough, hence the two stars, but by the time I reached the half-way mark (yes, I was counting pages at that point), I found myself suffering from mind-numbing ennui, punctuated briefly by muted flashes of lackluster ambivalence. I don’t recommend it.
