I’m sure there were many other such squeals at other houses when this book came out last week. I know that our kids (okay, and me too!) have been waiting for this book to come out ever since it was announced that Brandon Mull would be writing a sequel series to his beloved Fablehaven series. I will admit that I can’t wait to introduce our little guy to these books in a few ye

Author: First Book Publish:2015 Books in series: 1 Avg. Book Rating:7.4 Characters: The Dragon’s Blade: The Reborn King (The Dragon’s Blade Book 1) First published: November 9th 2015Rating: 7.42 stars GoodReads:The Dragon’s Blade: The Reborn King Review: This will be appreciated by gamers who like old fantasy stereotypes and cliche plots of evil demons vs humans, dragons in human form & fairies (blue, full size with wings no less.) It was just too juvenile for me and I didn’t make it past one chapter. It must be getting harder to come up with anything orginal in epic fantasy.

Book Rating:7.4 Characters: Voices of Dragons (Voices Of Dragons Book 1) First published: March 15th 2010Rating: 7.38 stars GoodReads:Voices of Dragons Review: At the start, I really enjoyed this book. However, as the story went on I began liking it less and less. I never connected with Kay. The only characters I liked were Artegal and Jon, but I didn’t even like them all that much. The ending, if you can call it that (since it feels like there should be a sequel and I can’t find a reference to one anywhere) was predictable, boring, and not a real ending…it left too much unfinished. I personally wouldn’t recommend this book.
