There is something about second chances and second time around romance. It was still hot.. Love flirty reads. Anticipation can be fun. Great characters.. Daisies in the Canyon (The Canyon Book 2) First published: December 15th 2014Rating: 7.8 stars GoodReads:Daisies in the Canyon Review: Is blood thicker than water, as the old family saying goes? Depends… upon circumstances, events, willingness to open hearts. A fast, simple read just for the heck of it. What do cowboy boots and combat boots have in common? They both can tromp thru pig-poop, mud and horse manure, then look great at a wedding! Daisies? Significant at weddings, funerals… and that Spring-fresh covering of a landscape. A bit of gratuitous sex, but relieved by plenty of ranchin’ action and mouth-waterin’ home coo

Book Rating:7.9 Characters: Sway (Romance Revsited Book 1) First published: December 28th 2015Rating: 7.88 stars GoodReads:Sway Review: Ava Elliot never thought she’d become a couch surfer. But with a freshly minted—and worthless—degree from Julliard, and her dad squandering the family fortune, what choice does she have? Living with her old high school friends, though, has its own drawbacks. Especially when her ex-fiancé Eric Wentworth drops back into her life. Eight years ago, she was too young, too scared of being poor, and too scared of her dad’s disapproval. Dumping him was a big mistake. In the most ironic of role reversals, Eric is rolling in musical success, and Ava’s starting at the bottom to build her career. Worse, every song Eric sings is an arrow aimed straight for her regrets. One encounter, one song too many, and Ava can’t go on like this. It’s time to tell Eric the truth, and make a choice. Finally let go of the past, or risk her heart for a second chance with her first love. If he can forgive her…and she can forgive herself.

Love reading books about our men and women in uniform. Lance Corporal Phillips is wounded by IED and lost arm and leg and ready to do himself in. Staci volunteers at the hospital where he’s about to be discharged. Together they work on his PTSD. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is very real. With so many veterans coming out of the Gulf Wars, it’s more in the forefront of everyone’s mind. But it is not just our veterans. It’s our law off

Book Rating:7.7 Characters: Giving It All (Dale Book 1) First published: August 31st 2015Rating: 7.66 stars GoodReads:Giving It All Review: I can’t believe how much I enjoyed this story. It seemed pretty straightforward – a mixture of tropes that I like (PTSD, returning hero son, childhood crush, popular boy/unpopular girl, a mystery) – but Hart brought great emotion and depth to the story. Some people might get a little tired of Grant’s hot and cold attitude, but it definitely makes sense and works well with the man and the relationship. I have a pretty low threshold for that kind of thing but I think it worked well here.

It is rare that an author can write so well that you feel as if you are a part of the story, rather than reading it. That is exactly how Friday Night Brides made me feel – as if these women were best friends that I could just pick up the phone and reach out to. I love the depth of each character developed, the personalities so distinct and different. This book made me feel – sad in placed, laugh out loud funny in more places and with warm fuzzies after I finished reading. I can

EMT Dawson Tayler is dedicated to his job, smoking hot and single. Nurse Sam Taylor is dedicated to her job and a feisty, whirling tornado. Oh, and single as well. The two banter and flirt with one another, and meet for a “friends” breakfast that somehow became a daily date….no, wait, they do not “date!” For Sam and Da Hidden (A McKenzie Ridge Novel Book 2) (Mckenzie Ridge Book 2) First published: June 29th 2016Rating: 9.5 stars GoodReads:Hidden (A McKenzie Ridge Novel Book 2) Review: Hidden is a suspenseful exciting book that definitely keeps your attention.
