Problem is it was an immature method of storytelling. Much like some dime novel.

In fact, so much so, that I highlighted it in my March book release post. It will therefore come as no surprise, as to how pleased I was, to get an email from Susan from the Book Publishing Guild asking if I would be interested to receive a copy for review. Therefore, many thanks Susan for getting it to me so quickly.
Author: First Book Publish:2012 Books in series: 1 Avg. Book Rating:7.2 Characters: Fraidy Hole (Sheriff Lester P. Morrison Book 1) First published: February 19th 2012Rating: 7.24 stars GoodReads:Fraidy Hole Review: County Sheriff Lester P. Morrison wasn’t buying the popular theory that a missing teenage girl was “just another runaway.” When his investigation revealed Melissa Parker was last seen in front of a roadside bar in the company of drunken men, the Sheriff’s suspicions soared to new heights. In fact, Melissa couldn’t run anywhere. She’d been assaulted, locked in a tornado shelter—a fraidy hole—with no food, no water, and left to die. Her struggles to escape took on a new urgency as Melissa realized she was not alone in that terrifying darkness. The survival clock was ticking.
Author: First Book Publish:2015 Books in series: 1 Avg. Book Rating:8 Characters: The Damned (The Darkest Hand Trilogy Book 1) First published: May 27th 2015Rating: 7.98 stars GoodReads:The Damned Review: I moved between a three and a four-star rating for this book. On the one hand the plot is fascinating. But on the other, it also felt needlessly complex. There are A LOT of characters to keep straight and while most of them are minor, it still felt a little overwhelming. I would have rather spent more time in the grim terror of the trenches than yet another meeting between inconsequential bishops.
