Author: First Book Publish:2016 Books in series: 1 Avg. Book Rating:7.8 Characters: Friday Night Brides (Enchanted Bridal Book 1) First published: May 2nd 2016Rating: 7.84 stars GoodReads:Friday Night Brides Review: The perfect book! It is rare that an author can write so well that you feel as if you are a part of the story, rather than reading it. That is exactly how Friday Night Brides made me feel – as if these women were best friends that I could just pick up the phone and reach out to. I love the depth of each character developed, the personalities so distinct and different. This book made me feel – sad in placed, laugh out loud funny in more places and with warm fuzzies after I finished reading. I can

Book Rating:8.3 Characters: Silk #1 (Silk (issues) Book 1) First published: February 17th 2015Rating: 8.3 stars GoodReads:Silk #1 Review: Easily a 5-star rating from a (fairly newbie/spider-man biased) comic book nerd. It’s rare for me to find POC characters in comic books (especially Asians) and Silk doesn’t disappoint. I love her sense of humor right away . I haven’t read The Amazing Spider-man issue where she was first introduced so I didn’t really know what to expect but I was surprised myself that I’m already loving this character from the very start. I also actually didn’t know that she was a ‘brand new’ character that was o

I think I have found a new author to place in my goto bag. The Asset was fast paced in all of the correct spots and detailed when it needed to be. It took me a chapter or two to get used to the writing style but after that I was off to the races. With myself being a writer my mind went crazy with a million different ideas for Pete Maddox and a million different endings. I am glad to see that this has turned into a series

To je třeba osud Osudů dobrého vojáka Švejka, který mi dosud nebyl dost dobrý, abych se do něj pustila. Zvonokosy, ten útrpně líně vyprávěný příběh s banální zápletkou a sexistickým podáním, by na tom nebyly jinak, nebýt bez sebemenších pochyb výborného překladu pana Zaorálka. Těmi třemi stovkami stránek jsem se pročetla čistě z úcty k němu. A jemu též patří ta jedna hvězdička v hodnocení navíc.

So, when I discovered she was starting a new series that I could read from the beginning, I thought it was an ideal to chance to read her at last and I am glad I did. We begin with events in 1987 and decisions involving some traumatised children.

Book Rating:6.4 Characters: Resisting Cupid (Return To Cupid, Texas Book 1) First published: March 6th 2012Rating: 6.44 stars GoodReads:Resisting Cupid Review: I was a bit thrown with this one, it is somewhere between “it’s ok” and “I like it”, so 2.5 stars. The story is good, has potential, but I think there are some flaws that make it quite unbelievable. She left her marriage after only 4 months when she was still 18. Her parents let her leave and pursue a career in the big city, but no one really follows up that her high school sweet heart and husband does NOT file for divorce????
