I have read very little about James I, King of Scots, who spent eighteen years in English captivity so it was new territory for me. A better job had been done on the proof-reading as well which also mad it a more enjoyable read. It wasn’t a good thing to be a Royal Stewart as James I uncle, The Duke of Albany had already killed one of his nephews in order to maintain his hold on power in Scotland and if that meant leaving James a penniless prisoner in England, so be it.

EMT Dawson Tayler is dedicated to his job, smoking hot and single. Nurse Sam Taylor is dedicated to her job and a feisty, whirling tornado. Oh, and single as well. The two banter and flirt with one another, and meet for a “friends” breakfast that somehow became a daily date….no, wait, they do not “date!” For Sam and Da Hidden (A McKenzie Ridge Novel Book 2) (Mckenzie Ridge Book 2) First published: June 29th 2016Rating: 9.5 stars GoodReads:Hidden (A McKenzie Ridge Novel Book 2) Review: Hidden is a suspenseful exciting book that definitely keeps your attention. This is a well written book from start to finish and I loved Hidden as much as I did Rescued. Author: First Book Publish:2012 Books in series: 2 Avg. Book Rating:8.5 Characters: Red Island (Sgt. Reid Book 1) First published: May 22nd 2012Rating: 8.34 stars GoodReads:Red Island Review: The plot is good. It would have been an interesting read, but I was catching errors faster than I was catching the perp. Errors won, only one perp as expected but 103 errors, mostly in spelling, are just unacceptable. This author needs to take this book back and get someone else, preferably literate, to proof read it for him. I will overlook 3 errors per book but not 103? People may find this criticism overly harsh, but this many errors just spoils a book for me. Your Mileage May Vary. Red Serge (Sgt. Reid Book 2) First published: December 17th 2013Rating: 9.34 stars GoodReads:Red Serge Review: A great follow up to Red Island. The story was intense as it follows Sgt. Reid and his reluctant participation in a heinous serious of murders of young girls. It was much more emotionally charged as I felt more towards characters I both liked and hated. The masterful creation of the plot to intertwine the stories and relate everything together was a joy to try and…

The story did not disappoint. I enjoyed the concept of the “kinetics” gradually descending into madness and the need for the role of a psych-kinetic investigator to track them down. The pacing of the plot was well done and the climax, though predictable, tied up events nicely before leading
